River City Bears is a gay private social club with a charitable intent.  The club is a directed especially at bears, bear friends, and bear admirers. Membership may not be denied for reasons of race, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, sex, or age.  The club holds monthly meetings at its home bar (Buddies On Adams, Peoria, IL) on the third Sunday of the month @ 3 pm, meetings last around one hour.  The club also holds charitable events during the year to raise funds for its list of sponsored charities which are pre-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.

The purpose of Common Ground is to provide support, education, activism and pride for Bradley University students and the surrounding community. Through friendly, social weekly meetings we support each other. We make presentations to EHS 120 (The University Experience) classes along with some social work classes in order to make the Bradley community more knowledgeable and accepting of what it is to be a queer or allied young person at Bradley. We work to bring more accepting school legislation to Bradley, bring significant figures in the queer community to speak publicly, and attend activism events in the area. Our National Coming Out Week celebration, along with the other special public events that we hold are a clear statement of pride to the community.

Rainbow Youth Outreach's Mission is to enhance the opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning youth and their allies, ages 14-20, by providing a supportive environment so they can grow, prosper, and realize their full potential in the community and the world.
